Cetus Diving Club is hosting the AIDA Finland Super Open 2025 at Espoonlahti Swimming Hall in Espoo. The competition will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of March.

The competition is also open to international competitors, offering an opportunity for athletes from around the world to compete alongside Finland’s best freedivers.

General information

Competition organizer: AIDA, Cetus Diving Club/ Kaja.Kallemets@gmail.com

Finnish Championship: DNF, DYN, DYNB and STA are awarded per discipline.

Open series/overall competition: awards are given based on the combined points of all four disciplines.

Athletes outside Finland can send email to organizer kaja.kallemets@gmail.com. You will receive a confirmation email with promotional code for booking accommodation and at a later time an invoice for the participation fee (approximately one week before the competition).

When registering on the AIDA website (message to the organizer),
you can also indicate which day you would like to complete the DYN and DYNB.

The athlete must be a member of the Finnish Diving Association or any other Aida National and must have a competition license from the association and a medical certificate

According to the statement issued by the Finnish Diving Association, citizens of Russia or
Belarus are not allowed to participate in the competition.

It is possible to set a world record in the competition. In case of a world record, AIDA’s doping testing guidelines will be followed.
Other competitors may also be invited to a doping test.

Competition fee: 85 EUR

Cancellation conditions: registration is binding and can only be cancelled
with a doctor’s certificate, in which case an office fee of 10 EUR will be retained.

Registration at the venue

Athletes must register upon arrival at the information desk in the lobby. The receptionist will be on site on Saturday 22 March at 10-11 am and Sunday 23 March at 8-9 am.


Athletes must also register 60 min before their competition performance (OT) to judge Teemu Hammaren.

From Espoonlahti metro station, there is approx. 10 min walk to the competition venue. The venue is located on ticket zone C.

By car

Espoonlahti Swimming Hall is located at Espoonlahdenkuja 4, Espoo.

The swimming hall’s parking area has a very limited number of time-restricted parking spaces. The front of the hall is reserved for drop-off traffic, and parking in the area is prohibited except for vehicles with a disabled parking permit.

If you arrive by car, it is recommended to drop off passengers at the swimming hall and park at the Lippulaiva shopping center, which is approximately a 300-meter walk from the swimming hall. Parking in Lippulaiva’s warm parking garage is free for the first 2 hours, after which a fee of 2 euros/hour applies.
